David and Sandra Brown Carr present a special report to mark the Race Unity Speech Awards. They’re an annual national contest for senior high school students in years 11, 12, and 13.
In this month’s programme, they will be reporting on the 2025 regional Speech Awards in Hawke’s Bay, which were held in March at St Francis Church Hall, Clive. Ten speakers from 6 different schools in Hastings, Havelock North, and Napier presented their own personal views on the subject of: “Te Moana Nui o te Kanorau, The Great Ocean of Diversity”.
Music on the show was provided by the students of Napier Girls' High School and by Rafi.
