Brown Carr Specials

David and Sandra Brown Carr present a special programme about the series of gatherings in Aotearoa and around the world, which were open to all who yearn for a better world, a stronger community, and a just and united society.  They included one event held during the last weekend in May 2022, at Te Aranga Marae in Paharakeke, Flaxmere. In this programme, David chats by Zoom with Shirin Gable, one of the two co-MCs at this gathering, about why they had been called by the Universal House of Justice, the supreme administrative body of the Baha’i Faith.  He also talks with Kiwi journalist and author Michael V Day about some of the highlights of the history of the Baha’i Faith in Aotearoa since its arrival here some 110 years ago, including the unusual story of the first Kiwi Baha’i, Margaret Stevenson.
Music in the show is provided by youth from Manurewa (Auckland), Malaysia, India, and also from Dan Seals.  More information can be found at
